There is something truly magical about an elopement by the sea, and this lovely couple’s day at Currumbin Beach was no exception. Originally hoping for clear skies and ocean views, the forecast hinted at stormy weather — but as the day unfolded, the storm clouds remarkably stayed at bay, allowing their celebration to go ahead in the most beautiful way.

This beautiful wedding was originally planned as a stunning beach ceremony, with the ocean as the perfect backdrop. However, severe rain on the day meant a last-minute decision had to be made to move the celebration to the accommodation where Georgia and Matt and their family were staying.

Sometimes the most beautiful weddings are born from perfect timing—and a little bit of fate. When Marcela’s family travelled from overseas to spend Christmas together, she and Stuart knew this was a moment they could never recreate. With her family already here, they decided there was no better time to say “I do” and create a memory that would last a lifetime.
