Christmas Eve Wedding

Elope to the Coast enjoyed a backyard wedding on Christmas eve. Our couple chose to honeymoon before the wedding day, and unfortunately both got Covid-19. By their wedding day, only the bride had Covid-19. The Elope to the Coast team still went “on with the show”, supplying decorations, bouquet and a beautiful carrot cake to match our bride’s bouquet. It was a twilight ceremony with lanterns down the aisle and fairy lights in the trees. Our couple organised platters for their close family, and it was a very special evening.

February Rooftop Wedding!

What better way to see the Gold Coast…! Have a rooftop wedding. …!

Mathew and Lisa chose a rooftop wedding with close family.

The skies were darkening with rain clouds around them for their special day. But it didn’t dampen their spirits. With a bit of a shuffle around of chairs and decorations, everyone was sheltered under a shade cover to watch Mathew and Lisa declare their love for each other and exchange their own personal vows.

Summer Wedding for Blake and Cristina

Blake and Cristina flew all the way from the United States, staying in Surfers Paradise.

They decided on a garden location at the Cascade Gardens. Two hours prior to the wedding the skies opened and a brief sun shower heated up the day more. They arrived in a Cadillac, which was very very cool. Blake and Cristina read their own personal vows to each other, which was a very special touch.

Our celebrant, Monique, met our couple prior to their wedding day and went over their itinerary for their day with them. Our photographer, Ray (www.raylawlerstudio.com), captured some amazing photos, both at the Cascade Gardens and the beach. By the time they left the Gold Coast to head back home, they had their images and video on a USB in their luggage.

We hope they loved their Gold Coast wedding and hopefully return to Australia again one day.

November Beachside Wedding

Kassandra and Mark celebrated their nuptials with close family on a sunny, Gold Coast day. Their package included the celebrant, wedding decorations, photography, accommodation, hair and make-up, bouquets for Kassandra and her bridesmaid, Mark and his groomsmen, and a beautiful wedding cake!

Kassandra wrote, “What can I say? We got married on 23 November 2023 and Bernadette and her team have been a Godsend. We had such a stress free day. Bernadette was friendly and professional and makes sure we are fully satisfied with the services. The hair and makeup artists were wonderful, setting us at ease, and listen to you. I’m lucky, as being a hairdresser by trade, and know photos are great for stylist and makeup artist, as a reference.

Afterwards, we had a dinner booking at Tallebudgera Surf Lifesaving Club. When we had our cake, it was delicious and tasted fresh, with sugar flowers on top looking so life-like. Photography was great – the photographer listened to what we were wanting and had great ideas as well. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. A beautiful beach wedding was conducted for Sarah and James at Palm Beach, Gold Coast, Queensland on 8 September 2023. With 1 maid of honour, 3 bridesmaids and 3 groomsmen, a gorgeous flower girl, and family and friends watching on, it was a truly wonderful, relaxed and personal ceremony, celebrating afterwards at Tugun Surf Lifesaving Club.

Where do I begin?
My partner and I decided we only wanted a small wedding, and started researching for elopement packages in the Gladstone area. We couldn’t find anything but one that kept popping up was Elope to the Gold Coast. It had everything we needed/ wanted and we decided, let’s do it. We had a “destination” wedding on the Gold Coast! Bernadette answered all of my annoying emails leading up, and being far away I had a lot of questions, because I didn’t know what anything looked like, where it was, I was nervous about hair and make up and without a trial wondering if it would look okay, and was sending Bernadette so many emails with questions. Every single time she reassured me. She was kind and understanding and the best person we could have put our trust into. We had a small wedding, with a few friends and family and Bernadette made it work. On our day it rained and even then everything was still perfect. The hair and make up ladies were wonderful. I showed them pictures and they took them to the next level. I felt incredible, honestly like a princess. We have just received our photos and Ray and his partner Simone have done an amazing job. We are absolutely awestruck with how they turned out. All of these people love what they do, and helped our day come together in amazing fashion. If you are considering Elope to the Gold Coast, do it. You absolutely will not regret it!

Tim & Diane

How We Met

Tim & Diane had worked at the same place for over 25years. In 2001 we chatted after a Christmas work function. On Christmas day Tim came over with chocolates and his smile and won me over. We’ve been inseparable ever since.

The Proposal

Tim proposed on the 2^nd last day of our 28 day European tour. It was beautiful and total shock all in one. The location was Hyde Park in London on 30^th June 2015. Whilst I didn’t say yes, I didn’t say no!

Our last day in London having breakfast in Kensington Gardens, Tim asked can I try that again with my smile. He got down on one knee and proposed with a beautiful ring, with tears in my eyes I said yes! It was truly beautiful.

Honeymoon

After our beautiful wedding day we flew out to England spending a week with family, then we headed off on an 18 day tour “Romantic Britain & Ireland Tour.”

From our first contact to our wedding day the whole process was stress free! Nothing was too much trouble, every email answered and everything taken care of.

The day itself was just beautiful, hair and makeup was done in my room, then all I had to do was get dressed. The “Elope Team” were brilliant, from hair and makeup and photography to the celebrant. The ceremony was beautiful; we just did not stop smiling. To top it off the photographer knew we were going overseas the next day so he uploaded all our photos the night of our wedding and had our images ready the following morning for us to collect. We were able to share our images of our special day with family overseas.

Happy Happy Bride

We did it again, Another Happy Bride

Our wedding day was fantastic! We are from Melbourne and everyone from elope to the coast were amazing, meeting all of our needs!!! They understood my son had severe autism and happily worked around him to make our day! The celebrant even read part of our ceremony with him that just made it absolutely perfect! When I had my meltdown the team were so lovely and beautiful they listened and set my mind at ease! The photography and the videography were brilliant and I love our wedding video and pictures!!v

I can’t thank Elope to the coast enough for such an amazing wedding and experience and I can’t recommend them highly enough!!!! When we renew our vows we will defiantly be going through Elope the coast again! Thank you everyone for an amazing wedding!!!!

I can honestly say I don’t think you guys need to improve on anything. I loved the whole day and I would do it again and again and again!! Thank you again for the amazing ceremony! And for putting up with me and my fussiness! (And severe bridezilla moments!) you guys are amazing!!!
